May 15, 2015

Iowa Highway 330 - The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the public to solve a May 13, 2015 theft of equipment from a highway construction site south of Melbourne, IA.

Hawkeye Pavers reported the theft of a yellow, 2004 John Deere 250 skid steer loader from their construction site near the 11 mile-marker of Iowa Highway 330, located between Melbourne and the Harvester Golf Course in Marshall County.

The thieves removed the loader Wednesday, sometime between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 12:30 P.M.

This route is highly travelled making it likely that someone unwittingly witnessed this theft in progress. Our office is asking anyone with information to call 641-754-5725.
