Regarding an update from the media release dated December 6, 2006 where the Marshall County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a single vehicle accident that was on fire in the 3000 mile of Garwin Road.
The occupant has been identified as:
Cindy June Santos, 48 years of age
Gladbrook, Iowa
Investigation regarding cause of death is still pending from the Iowa State Medical Examiners Office.

On April 20th, 2022, agents with the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force served seven narcotics search warrants in Marshalltown, Wellsburg, and Hampton Iowa after an investigation involving suspected drug trafficking and use taking place at these residences.
