Marshall County - Marshall County Sheriff's Office announced today that on December 14 & 15th, 2015, during the evening hours, members of the Marshall County Sheriff's Office Reserves will be conducting a survey of Marshall County citizens on their opinions of the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office recently completed an on-site inspection by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) in December 2014. As a part of this accreditation process, the Sheriff's Office Reserves will again conduct a survey which will assist the agency in better serving the citizens of Marshall County.
These calls will be taking place the evenings of December 14th and 15th.
The citizen survey is a standard for the accreditation process that is required to be completed every three years. The last survey was conducted in December of 2012. This survey will consist of 13 questions which will cover; overall agency performance, competence of agency employees, officers' attitudes and behavior towards citizens, concerns over safety and security within Marshall County and suggestions for agency improvement.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office encourages citizens to complete the survey from now until December 14th online at: www.marshallcountysheriff.com
Follow the link under Citizen's Survey located on the left side of the home page.
Due to the possibility of scams, it is suggested that if you feel the need to verify it is a Marshall County Deputy calling, please hang-up and contact the Sheriff's Office directly at (641)754-6380, where the survey is operating from.
