MIDTF Serves Multiple Arrest and Narcotic Search Warrants

As a result of this investigation, eight suspects were arrested and jailed on various criminal charges:

Violation of Probation Warrant

Ramon Jesus Mora, age 22, of Marshalltown

Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 2nd or subsequent offense- Aggravated Misdemeanor

Omar Alejandro Cruz, age 30, of Marshalltown

Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 3rd or subsequent offense- D Felony

Prohibited Acts – Aggravated Misdemeanor

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple Misdemeanor

Stefani Jo Perdue, age 26, of Marshalltown

Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 3rd or subsequent offense- D Felony

Jose Eduardo Victor, age 31, of Marshalltown

115 N 10th St. NW Hampton, Iowa

Andrew Craig Buttshaw, age 41, of Hampton

Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) 2nd or subsequent offense- Aggravated Misdemeanor

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple Misdemeanor

Warrants were also served at the following residences with no arrests made at this time:

206 ½ S 3rd Avenue, Marshalltown, Iowa

11 N 8th Avenue, Marshalltown, Iowa

1315 Larkfield Ct., Marshalltown, Iowa

Officers seized a distributional amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and recovered a stolen vehicle, as a result of the search warrants. One minor was encountered during the service of these warrants.

Additional arrests are pending as the investigation continues.

The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with the execution of the search warrants by the Marshalltown Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff's Office, Tama County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Sheriff’s, Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Hampton Police Department, Iowa State Patrol, Central Iowa Drug Task Force, North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force, North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force Special Operations Group, Tri-County Drug Task Force, Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and Drug Enforcement Administration

The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy.
