MIDTF serves search warrant

January 10, 2017

11 N 10th Avenue, Marshalltown, Iowa - January 10, 2017 agents with the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 11 N 10th Ave in Marshalltown, Iowa.

As a result of this investigation, one suspect was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on various criminal drug charges.

Michael Allen Witte, age 49, 11 N 10th Ave Marshalltown was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent (Methamphetamine), C Felony.
  • Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 3rd or subsequent offense, D Felony
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia, simple misdemeanor

Officers seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia as a result of the search warrant.

The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with the execution of the search warrant by the Marshalltown Police SWAT team and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy.
