MIDTF Serves Two Narcotic Search Warrants

407 Woodbury St & 401 N. 1st St Aprt #A , Marshall - On November 5th, 2013 agents with the Mid Iowa Drug Task Force served narcotics search warrants at 407 Woodbury Street and 401 N. 1st Street apartment #A, Marshalltown Iowa.

As a result of this investigation four suspects were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on various criminal charges after locating methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Daniel Scott Alman, age 53, 407 Woodbury St., Marshalltown Ia., arrested for possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), a serious misdemeanor.

William John Alman, age 22, 510 S. 4th St. Marshalltown Ia., arrested for possession of a schedule I controlled substance (marijuana), a serious misdemeanor.

Alfredo Cervantes-Ramirez, age 32, 401 N. 1st St. #A, Marshalltown Ia., arrested for possession schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver over 5 grams (methamphetamine), special class B felony, failure to affix drug tax stamp, class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, simple misdemeanor.

Griselda Cruz, age29, 401 N. 1st St. #A, Marshalltown Ia. was arrested for possession of a schedule I controlled substance (marijuana), a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia, simple misdemeanor.

Additional arrests are pending in this investigation.

The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with execution of the search warrants by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, Tama County Sheriff's Office (K-9 Unit), Marshalltown Police Department, Marshalltown K-9 Unit, and Marshalltown SWAT.

The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy. The Task Force operates in Grundy, Hardin, Marshall and Tama Counties.
