2041 Knapp Ave., Rural - Marshalltown Iowa - On Thursday, September 15th, 2011 agents with the Mid Iowa Drug Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 2041 Knapp Avenue, Marshalltown Iowa as a result of an ongoing drug investigation.
A marijuana growing operation was located on the property as a result of the search. Approximately 15 lbs. of processed marijuana, 70 processed marijuana plants, and stolen property was seized. One arrest has been made as a result of the investigation.

The investigation continues. The marijuana seized had a street value of approximately $15,000.00.
The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with execution of the search warrant by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, State Center Police Department, and Melbourne Police Department.
The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy. The Task Force operates in Grundy, Hardin, Marshall and Tama Counties.
