On February 24th, 2023, investigators with the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 407 N 7th Ave Marshalltown, Iowa.
As a result of this investigation, one suspect was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail on various criminal drug charges:
Kevin Lingard, age 72 of Marshalltown, Iowa
During a search of the residence investigators discovered evidence of drug use and sales. Investigators seized approximately nine (9) pounds of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, over $7000 in US currency, and drug related paraphernalia. Methamphetamine seized has an estimated street value over $160,000.00
The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with the execution of the search warrant by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County Reserve Deputy K9 Lizzy, Marshalltown Police Department, and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy.
